Industrial & office security

Industrial & office security for larger operational sites

NOX plans CCTV, intruder and perimeter protection around several buildings, loading areas, stock, machinery, office access, vehicle routes, boundaries and the way the site operates. Fire requirements can be coordinated through the separate Fire & Compliance route.

Industrial & office security in detail

Coverage for offices, working areas, yards and multi-building sites

The system is designed around evidence quality, staff use, visitor access, loading zones, stock areas and the practical realities of larger sites.

Site requirement

Larger sites need a joined-up plan for buildings, external areas and operations

Warehouses and industrial sites often combine long cable routes, several structures, vehicle movements, loading zones, high mounting positions, limited network coverage and out-of-hours risks. The design must be coordinated before equipment is selected.

  • Warehouse, industrial and office CCTV
  • Loading-bay and vehicle-route coverage
  • Internal and external intruder detection
  • Yard and boundary protection
  • Reception, office and staff-access control planning
  • Recorder and network design
  • Several buildings and phased projects
  • Monitoring and keyholder routes
  • Maintenance and system takeovers
Products and system options

System options for industrial and office security

A larger site often combines several camera types, internal and external detection, user control and remote access rather than relying on one device or one simple layout.

Ajax Authorised Installation Company
Ajax PTZ camera for commercial coverage

Commercial CCTV

A mix of fixed, dome or PTZ cameras can be selected around offices, entrances, loading bays, production areas and external routes.

Ajax MotionCam device used on commercial intruder systems

Intruder detection

Internal movement detection can protect offices, stores, corridors and working areas around opening hours and occupancy.

Ajax DualCurtain Outdoor device for perimeter protection

Perimeter layers

Suitable external detection can protect exposed approaches, yard edges and building perimeters where earlier warning is needed.

Ajax KeyPad Plus for user access and system control

User control

Managers, staff and keyholders can be given structured access through keypads, tags and app permissions that reflect the operating routine.

Project process

Survey, design, installation and ongoing support

01

Site-wide survey

Buildings, boundaries, routes, operations, existing systems, networks and access equipment are reviewed together.

02

Risk and coverage plan

CCTV views, alarm areas, perimeter layers, recording and communication are mapped to actual site priorities.

03

Phased or coordinated delivery

Work is scheduled around operations, access, health and safety, height and any required enabling work.

04

Handover and support

Users, playback, alarm areas, monitoring, records and planned maintenance are coordinated after installation.

What the design needs to solve

System decisions linked to the operational requirement

01

Several buildings

Each building may need separate power, network or radio consideration while remaining part of one operational system.

02

External areas

Yards, gates, loading zones and boundaries can use CCTV, lighting and suitable external detection as complementary layers.

03

Office and staff areas

Reception, offices, stores and restricted rooms can need a different level of visibility, user access and alarm control than the operational floor.

04

Recording and evidence

Larger camera counts require deliberate storage, playback, user permissions and incident-search planning.

05

Network and reliability

Long cable routes, wireless bridges, outbuildings and bandwidth requirements need to be confirmed before equipment is selected.

06

Long-term support

Maintenance, faults, upgrades and multi-site records are planned so the site remains supportable after handover.

Pricing factors

What affects the commercial quotation

The final price reflects the site, system, access and operational requirements confirmed during the survey.

  • Site size and number of buildings
  • Camera and detector quantities
  • Cable, fibre or wireless links
  • Network and recorder capacity
  • Height access and equipment
  • Operational and health-and-safety constraints
  • Monitoring requirements
  • Phased or out-of-hours work

Telesis industrial premises with Fire and intruder systems installed by NOX
Industrial Fire & Security · Derbyshire

Industrial Fire and Intruder Installation for a Derbyshire Warehouse

The Telesis Hitachi premises required modern fire protection and intruder security that could be installed around an operational industrial environment. The two systems needed to be coordinated as one project without confusing their separate life-safety and security functions. NOX installed the Ajax EN54 Fire Hub, manual call points and warning devices alongside the commercial intruder equipment, then tested normal operation, manual activation, alarm indication and evacuation functions before completing the handover with the responsible users.

Industrial CCTV and Intruder Protection in Chesterfield

This Chesterfield industrial unit required a joined-up security system that could provide useful recorded coverage around the building while also strengthening the premises with modern intruder protection. The camera design was based on the shape of the unit, the roller-door elevation, parking and vehicle movement, exposed corners and the external approaches used during normal operation. NOX combined the CCTV and alarm work into one coordinated industrial-security project, with the finished positions selected for practical evidence rather than simply adding cameras wherever access was easiest.

Working scrapyard and workshop site in Brimington protected by a thirteen-camera commercial CCTV system
Commercial CCTV · Brimington, Chesterfield

Thirteen-camera commercial CCTV installation

This active scrapyard and vehicle-parts site needed wider recorded coverage across several buildings, open yard routes, workshop entrances and densely stored stock. NOX designed and installed a thirteen-camera commercial CCTV system, using individual camera positions rather than relying on a small number of overly broad views.

Seamless journey from start to finish! I filled in the simple form and was soon contacted by the team. They were very knowledgeable, professional and really listened to my needs. I have since had a system installed. The price was much less than I had expected and so far the aftercare has been great. I can't recommend them enough!

Common questions

Answers before a commercial survey

Can NOX secure several buildings on one industrial site?

Yes. Power, network, cable routes, radio conditions and user requirements are assessed for each building and the site as a whole.

Can CCTV cover loading bays and vehicle routes?

Yes. Camera position, lens, night lighting and evidence requirements need to match the speed, distance and direction of movement.

Can the project be delivered in phases?

Yes, where the core design, capacity, network and future routes are planned from the beginning.

Do you maintain industrial CCTV and alarms?

Yes, suitable systems can move into planned CCTV and intruder maintenance after installation or a takeover assessment.
